Cortisonici Film Festival has to stop, for now.
It stops, since for us it’s unconceivable to think at a festival in which people have to maintain a safe distance of one meter or more. For us, the cinema means face to face discussions, hugs or heated arguments, nocturnal visions in movie theaters and/or in rooms crowded of people. It means, to a large extent, sociality.
At this very delicate moment nothing of this is possible, not even advisable.
This is just a bye for now – definetely not a farewell! – since the films selected this year are incredibly beautiful, interesting and heterogeneous, and we would regret too much not being able to share them with as many people as possible.
We’ll take a few weeks to organize and decide, in agreement with our valuable partners and following the guidelines of health authorities, the Festival’s new dates.
The international short film competition, the Focus on the Far Eastern animation, the section dedicated to kids Cortisonici Ragazzi, and the agenda of Inferno’s nightly screenings are ready… just a little more waiting and, like every year, we will be able to enjoy excellent movies, all together.
